This group is for all the writers who are in the "trying to be" stage of reaching the official status of "writers." Writing can be for a book, blog, magazine article, op-ed in newspaper, etc. Let's get together and write, critique each other's works, discuss writing styles, the challenges of being a writer, and the joys.

A few of us (well, two) aspiring science fiction/fantasy writers were looking for a serious critique and write-sharing group to join. … Session Format • We begin with a prompt exercise and write for 15 minutes. Writers who are comfortable doing so read what they’ve written. • Each of us tells the rest of the group what kind of feedback we’d like and reads the piece we’ve brought. • We then go around the table and provide the writer with our comments.
